Regret to inform the Club re the passing of Denis Carroll.
Denis died in Darwin on 14 December 2020, after a long battle with cancer. He wintered with ANARE as Chef at Davis in 1978 and again at Macquarie Island in 1980. Born in New Zealand, he served a five year chef apprenticeship with the New Zealand Army which included work experience in government-owned tourist chalets.
