The latest instalment in our “Oral Histories” series. Ingrid McGaughey interviewed Bill Storer on 17 August 2011 (Bill Storer passed away in 2016). This is a two-part interview with Bill Storer who was the Radio Operator and Postmaster at Macquarie Island in 1951, and at the setting up of the Mawson Station in 1954. Bill is a great storyteller, so these interviews are informative and entertaining.
