Formal notification of the 2026 Annual General Meeting

The ANARE Club 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Sunday 23 August from 4.30 pm to approx. 7.30 pm AEST in the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel, Hobart, TAS.

Please join this meeting, to welcome and endorse your incoming 2026-27 National Council, review and celebrate the past year’s achievements and continue our 75^th Anniversary year! The options for participation include:

1. Attending In person, (details below) if you will be in Hobart on that day
2. Attending Online via Zoom, (details below) and also the link will be sent to all members with an email address or
3. Attending By Proxy: (details below) use the easy Online Proxy Form that takes seconds to complete

Please ensure your vote counts by confirming that you are currently financial, and then join the AGM via one of the above avenues. Attendance is very important as the Club must have at least 10% of its members present via any of these avenues in order for a quorum to be reached and the meeting to proceed.

Meeting papers will be available on the ANARE Club website from Monday 17 August.

Branch convenors: you are most welcome to invite your  own branch members to give their proxy to one of your convenors/ councillors /members who will be attending the AGM in person or via Zoom.
