RSV Nuyina at Heard Island 2025
After a slight hiccup where the RSV NUYINA “scraped” the ocean floor during sea-bed survey works just off Heard Island, the ship has been assessed as safe and functional, and personnel are ashore and undertaking 10 days of terrestrial activity on the island. This is the first visit for the AAD for 20 years.
