How do I switch from a Postal Subscription to a Digital (Online) Subscription?

Our traditional Full Subscription (aka Postal Subscription) entitles members to receive a printed copy of Aurora. For many members this remains their preferred means of receiving Aurora. A Full or Postal subscription also entitles you to view Aurora online if you wish, by logging in to our website.

Some members choose a Digital Subscription (aka Online Subscription) when they join. This entitles them to view Aurora online rather than receiving a printed copy by post.

Any member can opt to switch between a Full Subscription and a Digital Subscription or vice-versa. Currently this is not a direct option during renewal, but we’re working on that.

In the meantime, this guide explains how to make the switch.

  • Switching from Postal to Digital (or Digital to Postal) requires an EFT payment
  • The amount you pay will determine the switch
    • $35 – Digital
    • $50 – Postal within Australia
    • $60 – Postal outside Australia
  • We will confirm your subscription switch upon receipt of the payment

Detail

Switching between a Digital Subscription ($35) and Full Subscription ($50 within Australia, $60 outside Australia) currently needs to be done manually by our membership team after the required amount is paid by EFT / Bank Transfer to:

NOTE: Your reference SURNAME #[Member No] is really important to help us differentiate yours from hundreds of other payments!

Overseas members need to add:

National Australia Bank SWIFT code: NATAAU3303M

Once we have processed your payment your subscription will be switched to match your payment.
