August 12, 2026 Canberra

The National Museum of Australia’s Women in Antarctica Spotlight Conversation heard from amazing women associated with the Australian Antarctic Program. The Live Panel discussion featured ANARE Club President Rebecca Jeffcoat, past Antarctic Station Leader and Director of Expeditioner Capability and Training for the Australian Antarctic Program, ANARE Club member Dr Diana Patterson OAM who was the first woman to be an Australian Antarctic Station Leader, and Dr Patricia Miloslavich who leads the Antarctic Monitoring Program, in a conversation facilitated by curator Dr Laura Cook.

The video recording of the event is available here on YouTube.
