Polar art at Batemans Bay

Any members in the Batemans Bay area may be interested in a display going up at The Pavilion (the local council’s main building) in May: “North to South and In-between”. George Cook (M66, Q68; NSW member) has friends there who have travelled extensively on tourist trips to the North Polar regions and who are displaying artworks and photos from up there. George’s daughter (Catherine Ann) is an artist who is showing paintings from “In Between” (i.e., Australia) and George is showing a number of prints copied from colour slides he took at Mawson in 1966 and Macquarie in 1968. All are most welcome!
