Antarctic Exhibition
Journey to the heart of Antarctica at the National Museum this winter
1 July to 11 October

This stunning new exhibition tells the extraordinary first-hand stories of more than 100 years of Australians in Antarctica – from early explorers to recent expeditioners at research stations including Mawson and Macquarie Island. See rare objects from one of the world’s largest Antarctic collections, on public display for the first time since their acquisition from the Australian Antarctic Division.

75th Anniversary Dinner – 9 October 2026
The major event of the weekend is the 75th Anniversary Dinner, to be held at the National Museum of Australia‘s Gandel Atrium.
Guests will have the opportunity attend Exhibition Antarctica before dinner formalities begin. Unfortunately, we have recently been informed that ANARE Club Patron, Her Excellency the Hon Ms Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia can no longer attend in person.
