The VICTORIAN Branch Inaugural Annual General Meeting will be held at the
Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, Pier Rd, St Kilda on WED 26th JULY with a
7:30pm Meeting start and the Bar will open at 6pm. (Please note that this
date is different from the one initially set per the minutes of the meeting
when the Victorian Branch was established).
The business of the AGM will be to elect office bearers for the Branch.
These are the minutes of the meeting on 29/04/2017 to form the Victorian Branch.
You are more than welcome to purchase drinks from the members bar and also
they will have available for you to purchase meals (Curries, Fish N Chip
or Salt & Pepper Calamari)

Previous Notice regarding formation of the Victorian Branch
Following the notice sent out in the last Aurora regarding formation of a Victorian Branch of the ANARE Club,
there are now enough members who have indicated support for this,
and members who have volunteered to take on the initial office bearer roles.

Meeting to formalise Victorian Branch of ANARE Club
In order to formalise the formation of the Victorian Branch, we should have a meeting of Victorian members
to produce minutes to this effect and formally appoint an initial set of office bearers to carry out duties
until the first AGM of the Branch is held at, or around the time of the Melbourne Mid-Winter Dinner.
A meeting will be held at 10:00am on Saturday 29/04/17 at Brian Harvey’s workshop 14 Bricker Street, Cheltenham, Vic.
All Victorian ANARE Club members are invited to attend and register their interest.
There is also one more council member position available to be filled, should someone wish to nominate.
