The ANARE Club is an association whose members have wintered in or visited Antarctica with the Australian Antarctic programs.
Most of its members will have served at the Australian Antarctic Stations of Mawson, Casey, Wilkes or Davis or the sub-Antarctic Islands of Macquarie or Heard.
Other members will have served at Antarctic bases of overseas countries such as the British Antarctic Survey, while others simply have an interest in Antarctica.

The ANARE Club has its national office based in Melbourne, Australia. The National committee members include representatives from several states. Members from all states are free to nominate to serve on the National Council and attend the four meetings held each year.  The 2017 National AGM is to be held at the Bayview Eden, 6 Queens Rd, Melbourne on on Sunday 20 August 2016 at time TBA. Trevor has now completed his medical and I am confident that all boxes will shortly be ticked.

I am also confident Trevor will do a great job representing and vigorously promoting our Club and that you all join me in Congratulating Trevor and wishing him well for a "Bon Voyage"
